Overview

«Ideal Eurovision 2025» was the 6th contest in the «Ideal Eurovision» franchise, held in April 2025. A total of 37 countries, along with 37 heads of delegations, participated in the contest. The show consisted of the First Semi-Final (6 April), the Second Semi-Final (13 April) and a Grand Final (April 20 2025). A total of 26 countries competed in the Grand Final. After tallying the jury and televote scores, Malta won «Ideal Eurovision 2025». The country was represented by Miriana Conte with the song «SERVING KANT», earning a total of 369 points. Austria with JJ - «Wasted Love» placed second and Sweden with KAJ - «Bara Bada Bastu» were third.

Interesting fact: Austria placed second second time in a row, in 2024 Kaleen was also placed 2nd with «We Will Rave.» Also this achievement makes Austria most successful country at Ideal Eurovision Song Contest, with 1 victory in 2023, thanks to TEYA & SALENA and 2 2nd places.

The main platform for the show was the Telegram-blog "Eurovision Live" again. The show was broadcasted at the Official YouTube-channel of Ideal Eurovision Song Contest. Moreover, it was the very first time the contest announcements and main covering of it was held at the special «Ideal Eurovision» Telegram-Channel. Additionally, the Heads of Delegations were able to set their own performances at the special constructed arena and stage.

Production

The "Ideal Eurovision Song Contest 2025" became the 6th competition in this franchise. The Grand Final was held in April 2025, a year after the victory of the Nemo in the 2024 contest.

On November 21, 2024, following the success of the Junior competition with high ratings, Ideal Eurovision Council announced that the "Ideal Eurovision Song Contest 2024" would officially take place. That same month, the representative for Montenegro were chosed.

Applications were open from January 3 to January 5, 2025, allowing anyone interested to apply and try to become a Head of Delegation for a participating country. On January 5, the Ideal Eurovision Council team shared that they had received around 60 applications, selecting the 37 best candidates. On January, the list of chosen participants was published.

On January 9, 2025, the Country Draw of participating countries took place among the Heads of Delegations. Each participant in our contest was assigned one of the countries through a live-streamed draw.

On January 23, 2025, the Allocation Draw took place, during which countries were divided into two Semi-Finals. The draw was broadcasted live.

On February 19, 2025, the Official Trailer was released and the dates for the Ideal Eurovision Song Contest 2025 were announced: the Semi-Finals would be held on April 6 and April 13, with the Grand Final set for April 20, 2024.

The filming of stage performances in the arena took place from Junuary 12 (Montenegro) to March 21, 2025. France performance was the final one to be recorded.

On March 17, 2025, the Running Order for both Semi-Finals was published.

Voting for the First Semi-Final took place from March 25 to March 27, 2024, with 846 votes received. The first Semi-Final aired on March 31. Voting for the second Semi-Final occurred from March 31 to April 2, 2025, with 1115 votes collected. The second Semi-Final aired on April 7, 2025.

On April 13, 2025, the Running Order for the Grand Final was announced, and voting for the Grand Final opened the same day. Voting closed on April 16, with 1185 votes received. The Grand Final was held on April 20, 2024.
